The reverse of the paper bill depicts the centenary logo and the Jabal an-Nour (The Mountain of Light) near the city of Mecca. The banknote contains a holographic patch, a solid security thread, and a windowed Starwide security thread with demetallized Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority in Arabic text. It also contains a watermark that reveals King Abdul Aziz with an electrotype 20.
