This uncirculated 2 Papua New Guinean kina note was issued in 2017 and signed by Loi Martin Bakani and Dairi Vele. It is a green polymer note that measures 125 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms and the National Parliament building in Moresby.
Its reverse side shows a Mount Hagan ax, a Kula armband from Milne Bay Province, an engraved dogtooth necklace from Bougainville, a Sepik clay pot, and tapa cloth patterns. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread. However, it has a watermark of the Central Bank of Papua New Guinea logo.
