Colombia 10000 Pesos, 2016, P-460b, UNC X 100 PCS Bundle Pack

The Colombia 10,000 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of the Republic in 2016. Featured on the obverse of this red banknote is anthropologist Virginia Gutierrez de Pineda, standing and holding a book. It also features a close up picture of Virginia Gutierrez de Pineda and an Arboricola tree frog. The reverse depicts leaves, a snake, a turtle, a caiman, the Amazon River, fish, a man holding in a pole on a canoe, a Victoria regia water lily flower, a text from Virginia Guierrez's book Familia y Cultura en Colombia, and the liberty's head bank seal.

The note contains a fuschia-to-green windowed security thread with a demetallized BRC and flowers. It also has a watermark that reveals Virginia Gutierrez and an electrotype 10. The note is 138 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Jose Dario Uribe Escobar and Jose Tolosa Buitrago. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
