The Brazil 100 Cruzeiros banknote was released by the Central Bank of Brazil around 1981 and 1984. It has hints of red, purple, and orange. Featured on its obverse are inverted mirror images of Luis Alves De Lima e Silva who was also known as Duke of Caxias. The reverse of the paper bill features soldiers with rifles and swords in a battle. The banknote is 154 x 74 mm in size and bears a watermark the shows Duque de Caxias.
